Voices of Strength is about you. It's about letting go of the pain, breaking free from the isolation, and finding empowerment through the support of others who understand. You are not alone, and you are worthy of healing.

I didn’t create Voices of Strength because I’m healed or enlightened.
I created it because for most of my life, I didn’t have anywhere safe to put the shit I was living through.
I grew up in a family where emotions weren’t welcome, truth was punished, and love came with conditions. By the time I left home, I was already carrying years of hurt I didn’t have language for — and moving to California didn’t magically fix anything.
I walked into more trauma, more silence, more loneliness than I ever expected.
Domestic violence, sexual assault, unstable housing, CPTSD, depression — things I carried alone because I didn’t have a place to talk about them.
I’m not a therapist.
I’m a survivor who’s had to piece myself together more times than I can count.
And I know what it feels like when you have no safe space to be honest about your pain.
That’s why Voices of Strength exists.
Because I needed a space like this long before I ever had one.
This is for people who’ve survived more than they’ve ever said out loud.
For people who don’t want to be “fixed,” they just want to be heard.
For people who are tired of holding everything in because they don’t want to burden anyone.
Here, you don’t have to make your trauma palatable.
You don’t have to shrink yourself.
You don’t have to pretend you’re okay.
You can share your story.
You can vent.
You can unravel.
You can be honest — even if it’s messy, complicated, angry, confusing, or still in pieces.
My hope is simple:
That this becomes the space I never had — and the space you deserve.
